Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Considered the top attraction of Northwest Arkansas, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is a  stunning 1.2 billion dollar wonder founded by Alice Walton, daughter of Sam Walton, founder of Walmart.  Five centuries of American art are on display in the museum proper.  Additionally, the beautiful rolling woodlands of the  surrounding grounds also features other American art.


Culinary Opportunities Extraordinaire
You don’t have to be a foodie to enjoy all the culinary opportunities in NWA.  Bentonville, Eureka Springs, and Fayetteville all have world-class chefs busy turning out signature dishes at premier dining destinations.  Brightwater, the NWACC Culinary Arts and Hospitality Program supports and enhance the exploding food scene in NWA.


Dickson Street
Considered one of the top two entertainment districts in Arkansas, Dickson Street is not only home to the Walton Arts Center, but it is also home to a diverse collection of delightful bars, unique shops and excellent restaurants.


The Jones Center A 220,000 sq. ft. indoor recreational facility which includes an ice rink, two pools, fitness center and gym and soccer court.  All are welcome.


Scott Family Amazeum
The Amazeum is an exciting interactive museum for children, the young at heart and families.  Children of all ages are inspired to learn as they engage with the various exhibits.  Learn while playing is the idea.  Kids love this place and beg to return again and again.


Sports
If you enjoy sports, you’ll be in hog heaven watching the world-famous Razorbacks play football, basketball or baseball but if professional sports are more to your liking, be sure to catch the NWA Naturals, a Minor League team based in Springdale.


Walmart Museum
Located on the historic downtown Bentonville square, the Walmart Museum combines a working 5 & 10 store, a museum about the history of Walmart and its founder, Sam Walton and the Sparks Cafe, an old-time soda fountain.  Prices are reasonable and the ice cream is yummy.


Walton Art Center
See and hear world-class artists from around the world in this premier performing arts center.  Located on famed Dickson Street in Fayetteville and close to the University of Arkansas campus, the Walton Art Center is the epicenter for the arts in Northwest Arkansas.


World-class Shopping
Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers offers upscale shopping, The Historic Downtown District in Eureka Springs is characterized by many unusual shops, art galleries, unique restaurants and delightful B&B’s and historic hotels.  Fayetteville is home to the Northwest Arkansas Mall with more than 100 specialty stores. Boutiques both trendy and classic are scattered throughout the region as are fine antique stores and huge well organized flea markets and resale stores.

Turpentine Creek Wildlife RefugeThis modern 459-acre retreat for wildlife gives refuge to more than 130 big cats and other large animals, most of them victims of the exotic pet animal trade.  Turpentine gives a lifetime home to the animals is rescues.  Guided tours are available every hour, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can stay in one of the Safari lodges located on the premises.  Great family fun!


Walmart AMP
The Walmart Music Pavilion (The AMP) holds 9,500 spectators and is open for world-class acts April – October.  Top acts like Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, Florida Georgia Line, and the best acts from every genre  including country, rock, electronica and pop grace the stage at this amazing amphitheater.  If you enjoy outdoor concerts, you’ll take away crazy fun memories from one of these epic music events.
